Dear Professor Huggins,
I still owe you a report on long-term planning on investment and it is certainly my intention not to forget it. My program, however, turns out to be more crowded than I had foreseen. This is also the reason why I am afraid that a visit to Jamaica in the first quarter of 1952 would meet with more difficulties than I had thought before. If it would be equally convenient to you somewhat to postpone my visit, I would prefer this solution. On the other hand I could very well imagine that the difficulties your country had meanwhile would at all prevent my being invited in the near future. This, of course, I could very well understand, but I take it that I will hear from you some time. Please, let me know quite frankly what your own views are and be sure that I shall first send my report although it may take some time.
