Dear Mr Bell,
I got your letters of July 13 and 23. Because of vacation I could not answer immediately. The proposal you make in your last letter would suit me very well. I shall try to arrive during the afternoon of August 8. You are right in assuming that from August 11 afternoon I had other arrangements made already. So it suits me very well to leave at that time.
I planned to take with me apart from my wife also my daughter Els, aged 20, and I wonder whether you would have accomodation for her in the way described in your circular letter. If not, could you, please, let me know in order that I make other arrangements ?
My wife and I are looking forward to hear both Mr Robertson's and Mr Owen's address.
