Zeer geachte Heer Burgman,
Bijgaand doe ik U wederom toekomen het stenografisch verslag van mijn rede voor het Verkeersinstituut, dat ik thans heb omgewerkt tot een artikel, zij het dat ik in het algemeen de oorspronkelijke vorm heb gehandhaafd en slechts hier en daar wat verkort, terwijl ik, in overeenstemming met Uw verzoek, de discussie zeer kort heb ondergebracht in het artikel zelf. De bladzijden gemerkt N kunnen dan verder vervallen, terwijl ik hoop dat het overige in een vorm is die het voor zetten geschikt maakt. Het stenografisch verslag was bepaald zeer goed.

Dear Mr. Burgman,
Enclosed I am sending you again the stenographic report of my speech for the Traffic Institute, which I have now reworked into an article, although I have generally maintained the original form and only shortened it here and there, while, in accordance with your request, I have included the discussion very briefly in the article itself. The pages marked N can then be omitted, while I hope that the rest is in a form that makes it suitable for typesetting. The stenographic report was certainly very good.
