Amice,
Voor de verzending van de overdrukjes zal worden zorg gedragen. Zou je later nog eens willen beschikken over enkele exemplaren, dan kan dat. Inmiddels is hier ook het gratis exemplaar van het gehele Handbuch aangekomen, waarop wij als auteurs recht hadden. Dit moet m.i. als jouw eigendom beschouwd worden; zou je mij willen melden of je het ook in Parijs wenst te ontvangen dan wel in den Haag wil laten?
Van Hofstra weet ik dat hij bezig is het programma op te maken en je brief ook ontvangen heeft. De moeilijkheid is echter dat hij nog niet van alle studenten weet welke bijvakken zij zullen kiezen. Hij rekent er echter op dat je de afgesproken cursus zult geven. Details zal hij je tot zijn spijt pas iets later kunnen melden, maar hij is op de zaak attent.

Care will be taken for the dispatch of the offprints. Should you wish to have a few more copies later, that is possible. In the meantime, the free copy of the entire Handbook, to which we as authors were entitled, has also arrived here. In my opinion, this should be considered your property; would you please let me know whether you wish to receive it in Paris as well or would like to leave it in The Hague?
I know from Hofstra that he is busy preparing the program and has also received your letter. The difficulty, however, is that he does not yet know from all students which minor subjects they will choose. He is, however, counting on you giving the agreed course. To his regret, he will only be able to report details to you a little later, but he is attentive to the matter.
