My dear Svennilson,
Thank you for the table you sent me already quite some time ago. What we are also and particularly interested in is, of course, your personal opinion as to the probable future development of industrial production in the countries of the Community for Coal and Steel. I wonder whether you would be willing to give us your opinion on this question also. If we could have an only very short memorandum on that matter before our next meeting on June 5 it would be, I think of extreme help to us. This would be the more so if you have yourself some idea of the rates of development of the separate industries.
