Bij mijn schrijven van 21 december 1982^1) had ik de eer de heer Idriss Jazairy voor te dragen als kandidaat voor de toekenning van de Internationale Koning-Boudewijnprijs voor ontwikkelingswerk. Ik neem de vrijheid hem opnieuw voor te dragen voor deze Prijs in het jaar 1986.
De heer Jazairy is thans president van het Internationale Fonds voor Agrarische Ontwikkeling (Fonds International de Développement Agricole, FIDA), gevestigd te Rome (Via del Serafico, 107, 00142 Roma).
Ik meen te mogen aannemen dat de door mij aan Uw Secretariaat toegezonden documenten betreffende de kandidaat in zijn dossier voor de Prijs 1984 bij U nog aanwezig zijn en dat ik naar deze documenten mag verwijzen. Ik zend U bij het schrijven van heden daarom slechts de aanvullende gegevens die nu ter beschikking staan en wel als Bijlage II.
Eveneens zend ik U afschrift van de voormalige Bijdrage III, opnieuw door mij getekend.
Mocht een en ander nog aanvulling behoeven, dan zou ik het op prijs stellen als U mij dit zoudt willen doen weten.

Overeenkomstig bijlage II van het Organiek Reglement van de Internationale Koning-Boudewijnprijs voor Ontwikkelingswerk, art. 7, bied ik U het begeleidend schrijven aan, waarin ik verklaar, akkoord te gaan met de bepalingen van het prijsreglement en de uitspraak van de Raad te aanvaarden.

In my letter of 21 December 1982^1) I had the honor to nominate Mr. Idriss Jazairy as a candidate for the award of the International King Baudouin Prize for development work. I take the liberty of nominating him again for this Prize in the year 1986.
Mr. Jazairy is currently president of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (Fonds International de Développement Agricole, FIDA), located in Rome (Via del Serafico, 107, 00142 Roma).
I believe I may assume that the documents concerning the candidate sent by me to your Secretariat in his file for the 1984 Prize are still in your possession and that I may refer to these documents. I am therefore sending you with today's letter only the additional data that are now available, namely as Annex II.
I also send you a copy of the former Contribution III, signed by me again.
Should anything still require supplementation, I would appreciate it if you would let me know.
