Dear Sir,
Thank you very much for sending me the article in Fortune about Free Competion in Big Business. I think it is particularly interesting to note that the distribution of income did not change considerably these last 20 years. Actually this was one of the arguments which I also used in an investigation on the same topic made by the Netherlands Economic Institute which was, however, never published. My impression was also that there is little evidence of monopolistic profits as a nation-wide phenomenon both for the United States and for other countries.
