Dear Ho,
Only to-day I succeeded in getting from my bookseller the English version of Mr de Beus' book and I am forwarding it to you as a little present as promised. I don't know whether you should take the author seriously in every detail of his book, but I think we are accustomed to reading critically.
It is already quite some time ago we had the pleasure of seeing you often and we are certainly missing a little bit that pleasure. There is some consolation in the fact that our English songbook appeared to contain the song of the man who fell in the Susquehanna !
I do hope all of you are well; here everything is allright. I am only much more busy than I was at Haverford College which was a real vacation. May be, and I hope so, you will have sometime a chance to cross the ocean. I hope you will not have forgotten our address then !
