De Heer A. van der Kuil,
p/a Clubhuis "Duindorp",
Amelandsestraat 88,
SCHEVENINGEN.
Beste Alewijn,

Mr. A. van der Kuil,
c/o Clubhouse "Duindorp",
Amelandsestraat 88,
SCHEVENINGEN.
Dear Alewijn,
As I promised, I have inquired with a tax specialist about the situation regarding the tax on the allowance you receive for the clubhouse work. The principle is that when it is actual income, tax is also levied on it, except when it is less than ƒ 200.- net per year. It is also correct in principle that, where everyone must pay tax on their income, it is also the case in this instance. You may therefore deduct from the ƒ 7.50 per week what you incur in costs yourself, e.g., for materials you bring or for transport. But if more than ƒ 200.- per year remains, there is indeed nothing to be done: then tax must be paid. I hope you see the reasonableness of this and that the Clubhouse may see you [soon] again.
With kind regards,
