Dear Professor Huggins,
I promised you to send you some more particulars on persons who might be able to fulfil the function in national accounting of which you spoke to me. It appeared on closer investigation that Mr Linneman cannot leave us for about a year because of his examination which had not yet taken place. Mr Roeske, as you will remember, is less advanced in theoretical matters and I think could better be used for other purposes. There are, however, 2 other young economists whom I could recommend to you, namely Mr D.B. JOCHEMS and Mr L. BECKER. Both are bright and well-trained and have been working with us for some years already. Mr Jochems would be available from the 15th of November or the 1st of December this year and Mr Becker from the middle of February. Both are about 25 years old, and Mr Jochems somewhat older than Mr Becker. Mr Jochems has a slight handicap since he somewhat stammers, but so far it has not in any way interfered with his capability of doing his job very well.
