Dear Klein,
Thank you for yours of May 20. I shall be very glad to visit the University of Michigan and I could propose as possible dates 8,9 , 10 October, or 15, 16 ,17 October. I am able to leave Philadelphia on the 8th or 15th in the morning; you may perhaps judge better than myself at what time I can be with you. It is understood that I am free from Thursday till Sunday to accept such invitations, and I take it that I better can stay 2 or 3 days in succession at Ann Arbor. As far as the subject is concerned, may I propose for the technical lecture "Economic Policy, its Targets, Instruments and Consistency", or "Planning of Monetary and Financial Policy"? For the general lecture I should be glad, as you suggested, to speak about "Problems of Economic Integration in Western Europe".
It will be a great pleasure for me to see you again and I am very grateful for your invitation.
