Amice,
De gezonden brochures lijken mij inderdaad niet oninteressant ofschoon ik mij afvraag of de voorstellen van den heer Muller voor onmiddellijke realisatie wel voldoende geschikt zijn. Het is een questie, die men misschien in het Instituut van Prof. Burgers t.z.t. eens kan bezien.
Ter nadere informatie voeg ik uittreksels van de beide brochures aan dezen brief toe.

Hierbij doe ik je toekomen twee boekjes van Dr.Ir. J.A.W. Muller, getiteld: "Naar Nieuwe Welvaart" en "De toekomst van de mijn-industrie". Deze brochures lijken mij niet oninteressant en ik zou gaarne je oordeel erover vernemen. Daarbij ontvang ik de brochures gaarne terug.

Dear friend,
The sent brochures indeed do not seem uninteresting to me, although I wonder whether the proposals of Mr. Muller are sufficiently suitable for immediate realization. It is a question that could perhaps be looked at in Prof. Burgers' Institute in due course.
For further information, I am adding extracts from both brochures to this letter.
