I was delighted to hear that you are visiting this country and I do hope that there will be the chance to see you here. The only bad thing is that on Saturday I am completely taken. The consequences are twofold. On the one hand you will be very welcome to the Central Planning Bureau, also on Saturday morning, even though I am not able myself to see you then. On the other hand I hope very much that you could be in the Hague on Friday and have lunch with me. Could you, please, advise my secretary, Mrs Voskuil, telephone the Hague 18 34 21, as to when we may have the pleasure of seeing you ? For all certainty I also ask her to make sure that my letter does not get lost and what your intentions are.
