Zeer geachte Heer Roelofs,
Toen ik U de vorige keer schreef had ik nog niet gezien dat Uw artikel in het Esperanto is geschreven. Helaas beheers ik dit niet en kan dus ook geen oordeel over het artikel geven. Ook zal het wel moeilijk zijn het te plaatsen in een der bekende internationale tijdschriften. Is het niet te vrezen dat het aantal personen dat het onderwerp beheerst en tegelijk Esperanto kent zo beperkt is, dat het niet economisch is om op deze wijze te schrijven? Practisch gebruiken wij tegenwoordig voor economische studies het Engels als wereldtaal.
De Engelse samenvatting was te kort om duidelijk te maken wat het nieuwe van Uw studie is. Om al deze redenen zend ik het artikel separaat terug. Ik geloof U te moeten aanraden de hoofdtekst in het Engels te schrijven.

Dear Mr. Roelofs,
When I wrote to you last time, I had not yet seen that your article is written in Esperanto. Unfortunately, I do not master this and therefore cannot give an opinion on the article. It will also likely be difficult to place it in one of the well-known international journals. Is it not to be feared that the number of people who master the subject and at the same time know Esperanto is so limited that it is not economical to write in this way? Practically, we nowadays use English as the world language for economic studies.
The English summary was too short to make clear what is new about your study. For all these reasons, I am returning the article separately. I believe I must advise you to write the main text in English.
