Dear Howard,
It is by now certain that I shall visit the United States during March and it would be a great pleasure for me to pay a visit to Haverford, during the 19th and 20th of March I wonder whether you would be kind enough to book a room for me in Haverford-hotel for Saturday-night and whether you would do me the favour to inform Gilbert White the Benhams and may be the faculty in general. I hope it will be possible to see some of my many good friends and if I can be of some use to the students I shall be glad.
