You may have seen some of the little volumes published in the series "Contributions to Economic Analysis" of which my colleagues P.J. VERDOORN and H.J. WITTEVEEN and I myself are the editors. We would highly appreciate your collaboration in this series, and are wondering whether you would not be willing to make a manuscript available to it. The subject could be left entirely to your own choice, but preferably in the field in which you have worked recently. As you may know, it is the object of the series to bring contributions of a quantitative character that are of some use to practical problems of policy.
