I herewith recommend Mr J.G.Augustinus, economist with the Royal Dutch Airlines, who studied economics at the Rotterdam School of Economics and made several successful applications in the field of market analysis for air traffic.

Zeer geachte Heer Augustinus,
Op Uw verzoek heb ik nog even nagegaan welke connecties ik in Midden-Engeland heb. Het zijn er minder dan ik dacht. De meeste vakgenoten, die ik daar ken, hebben een meer theoretische belangstelling, zoals Dr Stone in Cambridge (Department of Applied Economics, Marshall Library, Downing Street) en Prof. Hicks van de University of Manchester. Ik heb echter in het tijdschrift "The Manchester School" nagegaan welke schrijvers van meer practische economische onderwerpen afkomstig zijn uit Manchester en bied U in de bijlage een lijstje met namen aan. Deze heren zijn mij in het algemeen niet persoonlijk bekend (wèl Prof. Devons), doch ik zou U aanraden zelf maar te trachten connecties aan te knopen, waarbij bijgaande aanbeveling mogelijk voor U van een zeker nut kan zijn.

At your request, I have looked into which connections I have in Middle England. There are fewer than I thought. Most of the colleagues I know there have a more theoretical interest, such as Dr. Stone in Cambridge (Department of Applied Economics, Marshall Library, Downing Street) and Prof. Hicks of the University of Manchester. However, I have checked the journal "The Manchester School" to see which authors of more practical economic subjects come from Manchester and I am offering you a list of names in the attachment. These gentlemen are generally not personally known to me (though Prof. Devons is), but I would advise you to try to establish connections yourself, whereby the enclosed recommendation may be of some use to you.
