Thank you very much for yours of February 18. Personally [I] feel that the object of the Center is somewhat remote from my own [pr]ojects, but I would like to recommend for consideration my colleague [Pr]of. Fred. L. Polak on whom I am adding some information. I may add that [Pr]of. Polak made a number of contributions to the Sociology of cultural development which are considered very important in this country. He is at the [sa]me time being a deputy-director of the Central Planning Bureau of the [Ne]therlands Government since 1948 and was in charge of employment policy [si]nce 1951. He covers a wide field of activity between economics and [so]ciology.
