It was a pleasant surprise to learn that you will be in the neighbourhood of Holland next week. I do hope that you will find an opportunity to visit The Hague. My wife and I would be very glad if Mrs Mahalanobis and yourself could have dinner with us on the day you plan to spend in The Hague. Prof. Hofstra, the Director of the Institute of Social Studies will also be very glad if you could spend a short time at that Institute and meet some of the students, many of whom are compatriots of yours.
