Gentlemen,
In response to your letter of February 16, I can inform you that I am in principle prepared to speak at the general meeting, but that I am supposed to be in The Hague early on the 6th and therefore must depart again with the last train on the 5th. I assume that this means I am available during the day, but not in the evening. I am happy to leave the decision to you as to whether this suits you.
As a subject, I would like to suggest sharing something about the long-term development of the steel market as it has been studied by the Market Development Committee in the European Coal and Steel Community.

Meine Herren,
In Antwort auf Ihren Brief vom 16. Februar kann ich Ihnen mitteilen dass ich im Prinzip bereit bin auf der Mitgliederversammlung zu sprechen, dass ich jedoch am 6. früh in den Haag sein soll und deshalb mit dem letzten Zug am 5. wieder muss abreisen. Ich nehme an dass dies bedeutet dass ich während des Tages zur Verfügung stehe, nicht aber am Abend. Ich lasse Ihnen gerne die Entscheidung ob Ihnen das passt.
Als Gegenstand möchte ich vorschlagen etwas über die langfristige Entwicklung des Stahlmarktes mitzuteilen wie diese studiert worden ist vom Ausschuss Marktentwicklung in der Montanunion.
