Beste Douwe,
Hartelijk dank voor het zenden van het adres. Ik heb nooit gehoord van de Runstraat en ik vraag mij af of het geen Rijnstraat moet zijn, maar we hebben het maar naar de Runstraat gestuurd.
Per gelijke post zend ik je een nota over de waardering van openbare werken, die naar ik hoop van belang voor je zal zijn, en die door mij is opgesteld in verband met de discussies in de Landbouwinvesteringscommissie waar onze vriend Koornneef nog altijd grote vellen vol voor rekent. Hij zal juist dezer dagen tussen Koopmans, Horring en mezelf besproken worden, zodat je je op de hoogte kunt houden van de laatste ontwikkelingen op dit terrein. Mocht je commentaar hebben, dan houd ik mij zeer aanbevolen. Een belangrijk artikel in dit verband is het artikel van Chenery '),

Many thanks for sending the address. I have never heard of Runstraat and I wonder if it shouldn't be Rijnstraat, but we sent it to Runstraat anyway.
By the same mail I am sending you a note on the valuation of public works, which I hope will be of interest to you, and which was prepared by me in connection with the discussions in the Agricultural Investment Commission where our friend Koornneef is still calculating large sheets full for. It will be discussed just these days between Koopmans, Horring and myself, so that you can keep abreast of the latest developments in this field.
