Beste Jacob,

Dear Jacob,
May I add another request to what I asked you — via Loeb — on Dec 7? My request then was whether you would calculate y = a_0 + ?_1^5 a_i x_i. I would like to add whether — if you have time — you would then also calculate the coefficients of: y - 0.8 x_5 = a_0 + ?_1^4 a_i (x_i - x_5). As you will understand, this is a restriction that ?_i a_i = 0.8 must be. It concerns a Cobb-Douglas production function, where the x_i are the ln of quantities of 5 different types of labor. Assuming that about 0.2 of the national product goes to capital, no more than 0.8 would be available for the 5 types of labor, if you at least assume — as I do — that there are "macro" almost no economies of scale. If you want to do it, many thanks in advance. And Merry Christmas!
