My dear Colleague and friend,
Enclosed I am sending you a text for your notebook, as you requested in yours of November 17th. The text does not correspond in all details with my lecture of March 2nd 1952, but I preferred to construct a very simple new model, which represents, so to speak, a standard example of my method. I would like to ask you to add all the necessary corrections of French idiom and all the useful indications for the printer, e.g. the indications for the printing of the formulas.

Mon cher Collègue et ami,
Ci-inclus je vous envoie un texte pour votre cahier, comme vous me l'avez demandé par la vôtre du 17me novembre. Le texte ne correspond pas en tous les détails avec ma conférence du 2me mars 1952, mais j'ai préféré de construire un nouveau modèle très simple, qui représente pour ainsi dire un exemple standard de ma méthode. Je voudrais vous prier d'y ajouter toutes les corrections nécessaires d'idiome français et toutes les indications utiles pour l'imprimeur, p.e. les indications pour l'impression des formules.
