De heer Jaime Cifuentes is uiteraard welkom op het Centraal Planbureau, doch er is een zekere twijfel bij ons of het niet verstandiger zou zijn wanneer hij iets later zou komen, omdat in de loop van Augustus zeer hard moet worden gewerkt aan het Plan 1955 en er een aantal mensen niet beschikbaar zijn. Als de heer Cifuentes niet anders kan, dan zullen wij natuurlijk ons best doen hem niettemin zo goed mogelijk in te lichten.

Dear Sir,
This is to inform you that Mr Jaime Cifuentes will be very welcome at the Central Planning Bureau and that we will do all we can to inform him on our methods of working. I do not know whether the period of his stay at the Hague has already been determined definitely; if not, I suggest that it would be in September rather than in August since in August the Bureau is under pressure of work. If, however, no other solution would be possible to Mr Cifuentes we will do our best to give him as much information as we can.
