Dear Schneider,
I would like to inform you now that, if you agree, I hope to arrive on Sunday, May 10th (6 p.m.). I have to leave on Tuesday the 12th at 12:34 because of a meeting of the Council of Ministers. I hope that it will be possible for you to arrange the various arrangements and the lecture on Monday and Tuesday mornings and that I do not cause you too much trouble. I apologize that my official duties are once again thwarting the plans a bit! Please, however, write quite openly if this leads to difficulties.

Lieber Schneider,
Ich möchte Ihnen jetzt berichten dass ich, wenn Sie damit einverstanden sind, Sonntag den 10. Mai anzukommen hoffe (6 Uhr abends). Ich muss nämlich wegen einer Sitzung des Ministerrates Dienstag den 12. abreisen um 12.34. Ich hoffe dass es Ihnen möglich sein wird die verschiedenen Dispositionen und die Vorlesung am Montag und Dienstagmorgens zu arrangieren und dass ich Ihnen damit nicht zuviel Schwierigkeiten bereite. Ich entschuldige mich dass meine amtlichen Verpflichtungen wieder einmal die Pläne etwas durchkreuzen ! Bitte, schreiben Sie aber ganz offen wenn das zu Schwierigkeiten führt.
