Dr. Gupta wrote his dissertation on Unemployment Problems in India in the Netherlands in 1954 and took his doctor's degree in Economics with the Netherlands School of Economics.
He did this work with great devotion and succeeded in making a good analysis and appraisal of this problem and the policy involved.
His personal attitude towards his task as well as towards his colleagues and teachers was excellent and I recommend him for serious consideration if a Junior place would be available.
