Thank you for your lettre of November 1 which I could not immediately answer because of being abroad. What I advise you at present is that you apply to the Rockefeller Foundation in the usual way. Since I am involved in your program they certainly will consult me. If Professor Madhava is prepared to support your application I shall also gladly support it. I think Professor Madhava's support is needed since he only can judge whether among your compatriots your case would deserve priority.
