Mr Loveday:
Dr Friedrich, who visited me on Nov. 26th, showed me a number of charts he had been preparing and which he considered as of importance to business cycle research. He seemed to hope that the League could engage him temporarily for the construction of similar charts and asked me — although knowing of course that I do not engage people here — for my judgment. You find it in the letter I planned to write him.
At the same time you will find Profs. Mitchell's and Mill's and Mr. Kuznets' judgment in Dr. Friedrich's second letter.
