Dear Scitovsky,
I am very glad that you will be able to stay here until the 28th; this will make it possible for me to see you also. We hope you will have dinner with us one of the days you are at Scheveningen.
As regards the paper we would like you to give, it should not require preparation from your side; we just wanted to ask you for a somewhat systematic account of your own work of the last time, leaving it entirely to you how you would like to call it. Since I understand that you have been concentrating on problems of integration I chose that subject in my previous letter. But, please, do feel quite free as to the formulation. We usually have a talk of one hour followed by a discussion of an hour in a group of some 20-30 more or less specialized people. Would it be possible for you to do this on Monday, the 26th, at 11.15 a.m.?
