Dear Mr Houthakker,
Thank you for yours of October 11. To me Tuesday 30th October would be a suitable date and I shall be glad to give the seminar. As to the subject I could leave you the choice between:
1. Paradoxical Short-Term Consequences of Productivity Increases;
2. Four Alternative Policies to Restore Balance of Payments Equilibr[ium]
Both are of a simple mathematico-economic nature and, as far as I can see rather appropriate to a round-table discussion.
Thank you for your kind offer for office accommodation during my stay. I shall be glad to accept it. My address will be Sidney Sussex College; I hope to arrive on Friday October 26 at 11.34.
