Beste Jerrie,
Dank je bijzonder voor wat je mij op 6 februari deed toekomen onder kenmerk dH/Ho/105. Het is voor mijn doel prachtig. Het wordt vooral gebruikt, en ik zal je daarvan t.z.t. de tekst ook toesturen, om te verklaren waarom in een produktiefunktie voor Amerika, gebaseerd op doorsnede-gegevens voor de staten, een negatieve grensproduktiviteit voor de landbouw wordt gevonden. Dit betekent m.i. dat een additionele landbouwer aan de rest van de gemeenschap geld kost, en de orde van grootte wil ik verifiëren met de directe gegevens over deze subsidies. Ik ben er dus bijzonder mee geholpen.

Dear Jerrie,
Thank you very much for what you sent me on February 6 under reference dH/Ho/105. It is wonderful for my purpose. It will be used primarily, and I will also send you the text in due course, to explain why in a production function for America, based on cross-sectional data for the states, a negative marginal productivity for agriculture is found. This means, in my opinion, that an additional farmer costs the rest of the community money, and I want to verify the order of magnitude with the direct data on these subsidies. I am therefore particularly helped by it.
