Zeer geachte Heer Mijer,
In verband met mijn a.s. vertrek zag ik geen kans meer de gegevens afzonderlijk voor U te laten overschrijven, maar op bijgaande bladen vindt U alles wat U nodig hebt. Blad A geeft de inkomenscijfers volgens Prest en naar mijn oudere bronnen, blad B geeft met dezelfde symbolen als gebruikt in mijn artikel de overige grootheden die U voor de correlatieberekeningen nodig zoudt hebben, waarbij de index 5 geplaatst bij het symbool voor de consumptie slechts wijst op een vijfde statistisch cijfer, dat wij na herhaalde correctie tenslotte hebben gekozen. Het gaat er dus om de correlatieberekening B thans uit te voeren met behulp van de getallen voor Z en L, zoals die bij Prest voorkomen.

Dear Mr. Mijer,
In connection with my upcoming departure, I no longer saw any opportunity to have the data transcribed for you separately, but on the enclosed sheets you will find everything you need. Sheet A gives the income figures according to Prest and according to my older sources, sheet B gives, with the same symbols as used in my article, the other quantities that you would need for the correlation calculations, where the index 5 placed next to the symbol for consumption merely points to a fifth statistical figure, which we finally chose after repeated correction. The point is therefore to carry out correlation calculation B now using the numbers for Z and L, as they appear in Prest.
