Beste Dick,
Op het ogenblik zijn wij bezig met een vergelijking van het "Raamplan 1946-1952", gepubliceerd in onze Eerste Nota over 1947, met de nationale jaarrekeningen. Wanneer deze vergelijking gereed is, zullen we je de resultaten sturen. Het is niet zeker of het interessant genoeg zal zijn voor een publicatie.
Wij zijn niet voornemens onze andere oude plannen met de nationale jaarrekeningen te confronteren. Wel hebben wij bij onze Eerste Nota over 1950 in overleg met het C.B.S. een gemeenschappelijke voorlopige opstelling voor 1948 gemaakt, zodat het van nu af aan gemakkelijker zal worden dit soort vergelijkingen uit te voeren. Uiteraard weten wij nu al dat de werkelijkheid af zal wijken van onze ramingen voor 1950, onder meer door de Koreaanse crisis.
Tenslotte moge ik je verwijzen naar een artikel in de E.S.B. van 10 November 1950, No 1722, getiteld "Vijf Jaren Herstel", waarin voor een aantal economische grootheden een vergelijking wordt gemaakt tussen de door het het C.P.B. geplande ontwikkeling en de realisatie dienaangaande.

Dear Dick,
At the moment we are working on a comparison of the "Framework Plan 1946-1952", published in our First Memorandum on 1947, with the national annual accounts. When this comparison is ready, we will send you the results. It is not certain whether it will be interesting enough for a publication.
We do not intend to confront our other old plans with the national annual accounts. However, in our First Memorandum on 1950, in consultation with the C.B.S., we made a joint provisional setup for 1948, so that from now on it will be easier to carry out this type of comparison. Naturally, we already know that reality will deviate from our estimates for 1950, partly due to the Korean crisis.
Finally, I would like to refer you to an article in the E.S.B. of 10 November 1950, No. 1722, titled "Five Years of Recovery", in which a comparison is made for a number of economic quantities between the development planned by the C.P.B. and the realization thereof.
