Thank you for your letter of February 12. I am not aware of any obligation you still have to any institution in the Netherlands. Therefore I think that you are having no obligations at all in making a reprint of your dissertation if you wish to do so. I think the reservation made by the Institute is [a] formal one since they could not be informed about the precise nature of the obligations you probably could have towards the so-called "Hogeschoolfonds",but I may reassure you that this is not so.
I was very interested in learning that you are going to join the ECAFE and my best wishes accompany you! Please, give my best regards to Mrs Palvia, unknown yet to me, and also receive my wife's best regards.
