This is to certify that Mrs M. J. 't HOOFT-WELVAARS was one of my very able students in Econometrics. After having completed her M.A. training at the Rotterdam School of Economics she worked on investment problems at the office of an investment trust, whereas at present she is teaching at the University of Amsterdam assisting the well-known Dutch economist F. de Vries. Actually she has the full responsibility of his graduate courses and examinations. Mrs 't Hooft always had a keen interest in economic problems and very good understanding for methods of research. I warmly recommend her for next year seminar.
