Dear Dr Hansen,
Meanwhile I found time to read your very interesting Del I of "Allmän finansteori". It is indeed striking how parallel our thoughts have been and I am grateful to state this. I found several interesting points which you have worked out further than I did. One is your treatment of dynamic systems of which I had some notion but in which you went much further than I. I think you also gave on page I:10 some more logical possibilities as to the relation between the number of targets and the number of instruments and, of course, you worked out much more precise the question which are the instruments of financial policy and which the variables. So certainly you therefore will serve very useful ends anyhow. I am looking forward to further parts you may be planning to compose and to the publication of the report as a whole.
