Dear Sir,
Unfortunately I was absorbed by many activities of an urgent character preventing me from already writing over the changes I promised to send you on the text of "International Economic Cooperation". I am now able to send you at least part of the promised texts, viz the new preface as well as the copletely rewritten chapter VIII (both contained in annex A of this letter); in addition I am sending you as annex B the summary of chapter VIII, which ought to be included in the contents of the book and to replace what was said about chapter VIII in the original text. You will find that I adapted this text to the present situation and I hope it will cover whatever objections you rightly had.
As to the original text, I hope to be able to send you the small additions before the end of this month.
