Dear Doctor,
By chance, I have only just noticed that I forgot to correct an error when proofreading my article for the next issue of the Archives. The title of Section II is "Dynamics and Statistics". However, it should be "Dynamics and Statics". If the issue has not yet been printed, I would of course appreciate it if the correction could still be made. If the issue has already been printed, it is not very serious if it remains as it is. The readers will understand.
May I take this opportunity to send you my best wishes for the New Year at the same time?

Sehr geehrter Herr Doktor,
Zufälligerweise bemerke ich erst jetzt dass ich bei der Korrektur meines Artikels für die nächste Nummer des Archives einen Fehler zu korrigieren vergessen habe. Als Titel des Abschnitts II steht nämlich "Dynamik und Statistik". Dies soll aber sein "Dynamik und Statik". Falls die Nummer noch nicht abgedruckt worden ist, würde ich es natürlich begrüssen wenn man die Korrektur noch anbringen könnte. Ist die Nummer schon abgedruckt worden, so ist es aber nicht sehr ernst wenn die Sache so bleibt. Die Leser werden es verstehen.
Darf ich Ihnen bei dieser Gelegenheit zu gleicher Zeit meine besten Wünsche für das neue Jahr zukommen lassen ?
