I herewith recommend Mr N.J. Keuning student at the Netherlands School of Economics, for a fellowship for international affairs at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Mr Keuning hopes to take his M.A. degree in October this year and so far attained satisfactory to good results. He showed his interest in international affairs generally and questions of the Middle East in particular by following courses of professor Ashour of the American University of Beirut given at the Hague at the Institute of Social Studies, attended mostly by students from Asian countries. Mr Keuning concentrated on the subjects, economic policy, business cycles and international relations. He is a nice and modest person.
