Amice,
Je brief aan de Redactie van de Economisch-Statistische Berichten werd mij ter beantwoording doorgegeven. Het komt mij voor dat het betoog in de voetnoot het bewijs levert dat ook wanneer er aanvankelijk een stijging van de productie zou zijn, deze geen stand kan houden. Het betoog in de voetnoot is nl. een betoog dat de omvang van de productie in een evenwichtsstand vastlegt. Daarbij is inderdaad aangenomen dat de marginale consumptie quote voor niet-arbeiders kleiner is dan 1. Intussen vriendelijk dank voor je belangstelling.

Your letter to the Editorial Board of the Economisch-Statistische Berichten was passed on to me for a response. It seems to me that the argument in the footnote provides proof that even if there were initially an increase in production, it could not be sustained. The argument in the footnote is, namely, an argument that fixes the volume of production in an equilibrium state. In doing so, it is indeed assumed that the marginal consumption quota for non-workers is less than 1. In the meantime, thank you kindly for your interest.
