Beste Wim,
Bij mijn thuiskomst vond ik twee nieuwe zendingen van je, die ik nog niet heb gelezen. Maar om jouw tijd zo min mogelijk te laten braak liggen, zend ik je hierbij wederom 1 hoofdstuk. Je zult zien dat ik, en dat geldt ook voor het volgende hoofdstuk, het theoretische fundament nogal wat wankel vind. Ik wil hieruit niet de conclusie trekken, dat wij deze onderwerpen niet zouden insluiten, maar ik zou een iets grotere reserve uitgesproken willen zien, terwijl ik aan de andere kant de pogingen om hierdoor waarnemingen enig licht te brengen uiteraard toejuich. Misschien kunnen wij, als je dat zou schikken, op Maandag 20 April, bv. om 10 uur, daarover een gesprek hebben.

Dear Wim,
Upon my return home, I found two new shipments from you, which I have not yet read. But in order to let your time lie fallow as little as possible, I am hereby returning 1 chapter to you. You will see that I find the theoretical foundation rather shaky, and that also applies to the next chapter. I do not want to draw the conclusion from this that we should not include these subjects, but I would like to see a somewhat greater reserve expressed, while on the other hand I naturally applaud the attempts to shed some light on observations through this. Perhaps we could, if that would suit you, have a conversation about it on Monday 20 April, e.g. at 10 o'clock.
