Wij jammeren dat we Zaterdag je gezelschap hebben moeten missen door de starheid van de reglementen van de Witte. We hebben als datum voor de volgende bijeenkomst voorlopig vastgesteld Zaterdag 14 Juni 's middags. We zullen dan voor de laatste maal naar Kruimels landgoed 'Huis te Hemmen' trekken. Schikt deze dag jou ook?
We hebben o.m. gesproken over het bespreken van Goudriaans '[Zublad bij den]'. Uit een opmerking die je hebt gemaakt in Vrij Nederland hebben enkele redacteuren de indruk gekregen dat je het plan hebt er in De Economist dieper op in te gaan. Indien dit juist mocht zijn zullen we dit zeer toejuichen.
Ook het bespreken van "Measures for international economic stability" (Ver. Naties) is ter sprake geweest. Zoals je waarschijnlijk wel weet sluit dit aan op het rapport "National and international measures", dat je destijds hebt besproken. We durven je niet te vragen ook dit verslag voor je rekening te nemen, maar misschien kun je ons enkele van je medewerkers of het Planbureau noemen die voor het bespreken ervan in aanmerking komen.
We hebben besloten om, als het enigszins kan, de Juli-Augustus-aflevering voor onze jubileumuitgave te gebruiken.

We regret that we had to miss your company on Saturday due to the rigidity of the regulations of the Witte. We have tentatively set Saturday, June 14th in the afternoon as the date for the next meeting. We will then go to Kruimel's estate 'Huis te Hemmen' for the last time. Does this day suit you as well?
Among other things, we spoke about reviewing Goudriaan's '[Zublad bij den]'. From a remark you made in Vrij Nederland, some editors got the impression that you plan to go deeper into it in De Economist. If this should be correct, we would very much applaud this.
The review of "Measures for international economic stability" (United Nations) was also discussed. As you probably know, this follows on from the report "National and international measures", which you reviewed at the time. We do not dare to ask you to take on this report as well, but perhaps you could name some of your colleagues or the Planning Bureau who would be eligible to review it.
We have decided, if at all possible, to use the July-August issue for our anniversary edition.
