In antwoord op je brief van 22 dezer bericht ik je dat het C.P.B. geen publicaties op het gebied van de onderontwikkelde landen heeft ondernomen. Wel heeft onze medewerker Prof. H. Theil zijn inaugurale rede gewijd aan een onderwerp op dit terrein. Voor het gemak van je leerling zend ik je hierbij nog een literatuurlijst van de Economic Commission for Latin America, die ik t.z.t. gaarne terug zou ontvangen. Ik meen dat daarop het recente boek van NURKSE, Some Problems of Capital Accumulation in Underdeveloped Areas (Oxford University Press, 1953) nog niet genoemd is.

In response to your letter of the 22nd of this month, I inform you that the C.P.B. has not undertaken any publications in the field of underdeveloped countries. However, our colleague Prof. H. Theil has dedicated his inaugural address to a subject in this area. For the convenience of your student, I am sending you a literature list from the Economic Commission for Latin America, which I would like to receive back in due course. I believe that the recent book by NURKSE, Some Problems of Capital Accumulation in Underdeveloped Areas (Oxford University Press, 1953) is not yet mentioned on it.
