Zeer geachte Mejuffrouw Cramer,
Gaarne dank ik U nogmaals voor de bijzondere prettige wijze waarop de internationale conferentie op het Eykmanshuis is ontvangen en verzorgd. U zult wel bemerkt hebben hoezeer van alle zijden het verblijf daar werd geapprecieerd.
Ik neem de vrijheid in overleg met mijn vrouw U met een vraag lastig te vallen. Een kennisje van ons van circa 22 jaar, mejuffrouw Corry Reyninga, die de school voor maatschappelijk werk heeft afgelopen, zoekt naar een passende werkkring, nadat zij twee andere vormen van werkzaamheid heeft bedreven, die haar psychisch wat te grote moeilijkheden berokkenden. Dit waren beide keren werkkringen in een omgeving, die inderdaad voor een jong meisje deprimerend genoemd kunnen worden. Het is een bijzonder toegewijd en flink meisje, zodat wij haar gaarne aanbevelen. Mocht U er iets in zien om haar eens zelf te spreken, dan is zij natuurlijk gaarne bereid naar Driebergen te komen, ook wanneer er niet direct sprake zou zijn van werk bij U.

Dear Miss Cramer,
I would like to thank you once again for the exceptionally pleasant way in which the international conference at the Eykmanshuis was received and cared for. You will have noticed how much the stay there was appreciated by all sides.
I take the liberty, in consultation with my wife, to bother you with a question. An acquaintance of ours, about 22 years old, Miss Corry Reyninga, who has completed the school for social work, is looking for a suitable work environment, after she has engaged in two other forms of activity that caused her somewhat too great psychological difficulties. Both times these were work environments in an environment that could indeed be called depressing for a young girl. She is a particularly dedicated and capable girl, so we are happy to recommend her. Should you see something in speaking to her yourself, she is of course happy to come to Driebergen, even if there were no immediate question of work with you.
