My dear Colleague,
I thank you very much for your kind letter. In the meantime I have searched through my correspondence, but I have not yet received, it seems to me, indications regarding the date and the exact location of the Naples conference of which you spoke to me. Although I am not yet absolutely sure of being able to come, I would be very happy to have this information in order to be able to arrange a schedule. Would it be possible for you to send me this information?

Je vous remercie vivement pour votre aimable lettre. Entre-temps j'ai cherché dans ma correspondance, mais je n'ai pas encore reçu, il me semble, des indications sur la date et la place exacte de la conférence de Naples de laquelle vous m'avez parlé. Quoique je ne sois pas encore absolument sûr de pouvoir venir je serais très heureux d'avoir ses informations afin de pouvoir arranger un programme. Vous serait-il possible de m'envoyer ces informations ?
