The Head of the Personnel
Department,
International Labour Office,
Geneva
Dear Sir,
In reply to your request for information about Mr G. van Duijn I am glad to inform you that Mr Van Duijn is an able young man who specialised on mathematical problems. He is a B.A. of the Netherlands School of Economics and has a position at my office where his special field is working on decision models. Generally speaking I am quite satisfied with his work and his personality. Recently he was charged with calculations about the influence of unemployment insurance on the general price and production level in this country, which he did very well.
Yours very sincerely,
(J.Tinbergen)
