Tot mijn grote spijt ben ik op 3 Juli niet beschikbaar, omdat ik al met vacantie ben. In verband daarmede hebben Lambers en ik het vraagstuk besproken en geen andere oplossing gevonden dan toch maar op de 26e bijeen te komen. Men zal dan proberen nadien met jou overleg te plegen. Het spijt me dat ik niet op andere wijze aan je verzoek tegemoet kan komen, maar ik hoop dat je zult begrijpen dat aan deze gegevens niet veel te veranderen is.

To my great regret, I am not available on 3 July, because I am already on vacation. In connection with this, Lambers and I have discussed the issue and found no other solution than to meet on the 26th after all. They will then try to consult with you afterwards. I am sorry that I cannot meet your request in any other way, but I hope you will understand that not much can be changed about these details.
