Indeed, I believe with you that Mr. Hawtrey does not intend to be a permanent member of our group. Perhaps you could write to him on behalf of our group in this regard and, in the affirmative case, propose that he suggest the name of a colleague he would recommend to us. I agree that such a procedure corresponds to your own intentions. Later we could discuss the potential candidate for this vacant position.
