Dear Professor Saraceno,
Thank you very much for your letter of September 20th and for your telegram in reply to mine. I now decided to shift my visit one day and I plan to arrive on October 15th at 15h15 at the Airport and to leave on October 17th at 15h00 from the Airport, in order that I may be available all Saturday. It would, of course, be very helpful if you sent me the development plan before. An Italian text would also do.
I have two requests to make. First, I should like to be in a modest hotel rather than in a big one. Secondly, I invited my wife to join me, of course on my own expenses; but it would be very kind if you could reserve a double room therefore. It is not necessary in any way to restrict the duration of our meeting on behalf of my wife since she is accustomed to find her own way and certainly immensely will enjoy seeing buildings and pictures.
I am very glad that I am able to participate in your study and am looking forward to my visit very much.
