Amice,
Dank voor je brief van 25 Januari. Ik zal ongetwijfeld het tijdschrift "Population" eens opslaan, want ik had het niet bemerkt. Wel had ik eens in een boek over dergelijke kwesties gelegenheid de zeer fraaie golven in het voorkomen van enkele pelsdieren te vinden, die mij tot ongeveer dezelfde opmerking aanleiding gaf, als jij nu maakt.
Over de questie "het algemene evenwicht bij vrije concurrentie en bij een planhuishouding" zou wellicht de Rotterdamse lector L.M. Koijck kunnen schrijven, ofschoon ik bang ben dat hij geen tijd zal vinden. Zijn adres is Mijnsherenland, Z.H.

Thank you for your letter of 25 January. I will certainly look up the journal "Population" sometime, as I had not noticed it. I once had the opportunity in a book on similar matters to find the very beautiful waves in the occurrence of some fur-bearing animals, which gave me cause for approximately the same remark as you are making now.
Regarding the question of "the general equilibrium in free competition and in a planned economy," the Rotterdam lecturer L.M. Koijck might be able to write, although I am afraid he will not find the time. His address is Mijnsherenland, Z.H.
